Susanna & Jim - Festive Pipher

Susanna was such a pleasure to team up with. She wanted flowers that were not typical wedding flowers - which is something I love to work on.

She has a very talented brother who supplied the ideas for her centerpieces and ceremony flowers. I can't wait to see those pictures. We designed the personal flowers that would work with her color scheme of blue and yellow. Since their wedding was at Springton Manor Farm, Susanna wanted a more natural, textured look to her flowers, so we incorporated grass and more "gardeny" looking flowers into her personal flowers. Susanna's bouquet was made up of lisianthus, iris, stock, craspedia, delphinium, and bear grass. She spent a lot of time picking out just the right ribbon. I love the one that we ended up with.

Jim's boutonniere was made up of craspedia and Dusty Miller to match Susanna's bouquet.

Susanna wanted a very textured bouquet for her Maid of Honor - her sister Tory. To the yellow dahlias we added blue delphinium, craspedia, and Dusty Miller. Susanna picked out really pretty blue plaid ribbon for the stem wrap.

This is the Best Man's boutonniere of delphinium. We added Dusty Miller to all of the boutonnieres for her wedding. All of the Dusty Miller that we used was supplied by Susanna from her own garden.

We made bouquets of yellow roses and grass loops and matching boutonnieres for Susanna & Jim's sisters and brothers.

Zach's ring bearer box is made out of yellow floral foam, ribbon, craspedia , and two "rings" you can't quite see at the top. There are so many things you can do with the colored foam that is available. We also made him a cute craspedia boutonniere to match.

Susanna brought me some of the fabric daisies that were going to be put on Emma, the Flower Girl's, dress. I had already decorated the basket with butterflies, but decided that the daisies would be a much better match, so I re-did the basket. I think it came out much better. Emma was going to throw the rose petals in the basket.

And finally, we made a bracelet for "the butterfly girl", Lucy, who released the butterflies for Susanna and Jim's celebration. If you look closely, you'll see the two butterflies added to the yellow mums.

Oh, you might be wondering who Pipher is? Well he is Susanna and Jim's chocolate Lab. We made a blue and yellow flower collar for him to wear. After all, he was going to be in the wedding! I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of many aspects of Susanna's wedding - but I'm most anxious to see the pictures of Susanna and of Pipher. I'll post them to my blog as soon as I get them.
