When I met with Heather, she said that she wanted to use a fun, summer color pallete
which included bright pink, orange, yellow, bright green, and white. Kelly green was used as a strong accent color in ribbons and in other details that Heather provided. When it came to centerpieces, she wanted to also add some natural elements such as river rocks and curly willow, which we incorporated into the reception flowers. Colin's mom worked with silk flowers and wanted to be involved in the wedding decor. She gracioiusly provided the second type of centerpieces, aisle decorations for the ceremony, and wreaths for the doors at Normandy Farms.
Heather's dress was absolutely stunning. It had such a pretty vintage, lacy look to it. And she looked beautiful in it. Her bouquet was made up of ivory roses and mini green cymbidium orchids. In all the excitement of setting up the wedding, I forgot to take a close-up picture of her beautiful bouquet.
We made Colin a special boutonniere with mini cymbidium orchids and lily grass. Look at that smile! He's one happy guy!
Bridesmaids carried bright bouquets of summer flowes that included green mums, orange zinnias, pink zinnias, yellow roses, and Queen Anne's lace. The bouquets looked terrific against the kelly green dresses. Groomsmen wore boutonnieres of orange spray roses.
This is Ava, the flower girl, holding her orange spray rose pomander. She was so excited about being in this wedding and just too cute for words!
A very colorful spray of summer flowers decorated the center of the ceremony arch. Colin's mom made bows with colorful silk flower decorations for the aisle chairs.
We placed orange lilies on beds of river rocks in vases on the cocktail tables and the gift table to add a touch of color.
We used orange gladiolus, croton leaves, lily grass, and curly willow branches to create this pretty arrangement for the placecard table.
Three very brightly colored centerpieces were placed on the sweetheart table, to alternate with votive candles. Inside the bowls, we wrapped branches of curly willow. Colin's mom ordered these as a surprise for Heather and Colin. What a nice mother-in-law!

We designed large colorful flower arrangements in bowls with river rocks in the base. Flowers included roses, alstromeria, zinnias, gerber daisies, and mums. Branches of curly willow sprouted from the flowers.
