Heather & Matt - Villanova Conference Center

Villanova Conference Center has a gorgeous setting for an outside ceremony set among levels of gardens, fountains, and pillars of gray stone. It is truly breathtaking. We used four large arrangements that echoed Heather's colors by using white hydrangea, hanging and upright burgundy amaranthus, burgundy snapdragons, bupleurum, and lots of greens. Heather also wanted a golden touch added to her flowers. We achieved this by adding gold beading to her ivory roses and calla lilies, using urns with a golden sheen to them, and using more gold beading amongst white hydrangea. All of us at Whimsical Welcomes loved how this wedding turned out.

We used four different urns each with its own style of flowers in burgundy, white, and green. We used lots of hydrangea, zinnias, alstromeria, snapdragons, cockscomb, sedum, ranunculus, carnations, roses, and hypericum berries mixed with greens. We even worked some burgundy artichokes into these. The urns looked so pretty on the gold patterned tablecloths.

Dineka & Demetrus - Bouquet bracelets

Dineka chose an elegant bouquet wrap for her mix of white stock and white Oriental lilies. We used rhinestone bouquet bracelets on her elongated stems with a "criss-cross" of ivory ribbon studded with rhinestones. It's difficult to see in these pictures, but the glittery effect was quite beautiful.

Jennifer & Ryan - Shades of Pink

Jen was so terrific to work with. We used a lot of unique ideas and imaginative touches. Her bouquet was a combination of beautiful mini white cymbidium orchids, Mi Amor roses, Akito roses, and white stock.

Bridesmaids' bouquet were so pretty and summery looking with a combination of zinnias, stock, and white and pink roses. Each ribbon wrap was adorned with that bridesmaid's initial.

Jen bought this amazing triple tiered cake plate trimmed with crystals. We filled each "layer" with masses of flowers. From top to botton - hydrangea - tipped carnations - Malibu roses. I think this is one of my favorite placecard table arrangements.

On each of Jennifer's cocktail tables, we placed a glass rectangular vase
filled with pink sea glass, a stem of blush dendrobium orchids and mini
gerber daisies. They looked great.

Jennifer wanted a lot of different shades of pink and a touch of silver on her tables. She also wanted to re-use vases that her bridesmaids had provided for her shower. So we filled the bottom with pink sea glass, ribboned the necks with ribbon in shades of pink, filled the vase with hydrangea and silver painted curly willow. Our final touch was adding dendrobium orchids to the branches. We table scaped our second centerpiece with silvery goblets filled with three different pink flowers. And finally used silver bowls each filled with a different shade of pink spray roses. And each bowl was then surrounded with four matching containers each with a Malibu rose in it.

Catherine & Michael - Cheerful flowers

Catherine chose a variety of bright cheery flowers for her bouquet which included: red, yellow, and pink gerber daisies; pink and red crown asters, yellow solidago, and green hypericum berries. I think her bouquet is so vivid and "happy" looking. For bridesmaids Catherine chose to use the same pink gerber daisies as she used, white Atlantis daisies, and white limonium. Even her toss bouquet was cute. We used pink daisies and leftover white spray roses from corsages. The combinations in these bouquets made us all smile!

Jennifer & Joe - Purple Passion

Jennifer chose a beautiful combination of all white flowers for her bouquet - white roses with pearls in their centers, white mini calla lilies, and white ranunculus. I can't wait to see a picture of Jennifer holding her bouquet.
But everything else was purple and lavender. Bridesmaids had a mix of purple carnations, lavender roses, pink/lavender ranunculus, and white bouvardia.
The ringbearer had a "box" of striped purple and lavender carnations. There are two gold rings in the center. I don't have a picture, but the flower girl's pomander matched this adorable ring box.
Cones of lavender and white greeted the guests at the church doors.
Altar flowers of purple hydrangea, white cremones, and purple larkspur in antique looking rattan containers flanked the altar. Heads of hydrangea atop streamers of lavender and purple decorated the pews as in the picture above. St. Mary's looked lovely in lavender!
