Jessica & David - Black, White, and Red All Over

Jessica and I worked together to create the red, white, and black wedding of her dreams at Westover Country Club. Judging from the pictures, I think we succeeded.
Jessica carried a bouquet of Red Intuition roses into which I wove strands of crystals. David's boutonniere matched hers of course. This beautiful photograph of Jess was taken by www.jennchildress.com

Bridesmaids carried bouquets of white roses with red pins in them. Groomsmen wore matching boutonnieres. Photo courtesy of Jenn Childress.

Red and white flowers were placed on both sides of the altar. A single red rose added contrast to the white moire ribbon pew bows.

We made pomanders of red carnations placed on candlestick holders for the cocktail tables.

The placecard table arrangement was a beautiful black, white, and red piece consisting of manzanita branches, orchids, crystals, and red roses. I am particularly fond of this one.

All of the centerpieces on the table were done in bowls with red acrylics in the base, white roses, red roses, Latin Lady roses, hypericum berries, greens, and black ting ting. Red rose petals and votive candles surrounded each centerpiece as well.
The chair covers and bows added that special touch of elegance to the room.

Red roses were used to decorate the cake. Those on the layers were made from icing and those on the top were fresh.
This will be my last blog entry for 2009. I'm taking off to enjoy the season with my family. I wish all of you Happy Holidays and a Healthy and Wonderful 2010.
