Staci and Billy - Pink and Green Gathering

Staci and Billy are an adorable couple and were a dream to work with. They wanted to use a bright combination of hot pink and green. Their ceremony was held at St. Eleanors in Collegeville and their reception at Rivercrest CC in Phoenixville. Poor Staci was so sick during the week before her wedding, but I heard that it didn't stop her from having a fabulous day. Staci's bouquet was made up of Malibu roses, green lisianthus, hot pink ranunculus, and blush bouvardia. We wrapped her grandmother's lace edged handkerchief around her stems. I thought this was a lovely touch.

We tried to make Billy's boutonniere a little more creative by adding ribbon, bouvardia, and florets from the Bells of Ireland to his Malibu rose. I liked how this came out and hope to do more in the future.

Bridesmaids carried a mix of alstromeria, Bells of Ireland, and gorgeous hot pink snapdragons. We couldn't bear to cut down the snapdragons - which Staci loved - so we arranged the bouquets in a more unusual manner. And they turned out to be a hit - yay!!

A large arrangement, surrounded by the placecards, greeted guests in the entryway of Rivercrest. Sitting upon a cylinder made up of pink and green layers, we made an arrangement of ti leaves, hydrangea, fugi mums, gerber daisies, hot pink roses, green roses, party balls, and ting ting. It was a colorful surprise to all who entered the reception.

Fun little arrangements of mini gerbers and green roses with hot pink triple pins in them, plus bear grass and lily grass were set up on the cocktail tables. We tied green and pink polka dotted ribbon around hot pink bud vases.

We made a hot pink and green flowered "wish bowl" for guests to drop in notes for Staci and Billy. I started it off. The little sign to the right explained what to do. To the left were framed pictures of family members at their weddings.

We planned for two types of centerpieces on Staci's tables. Half were made up of two sizes of glass rectangles filled with alstmeria, hot pink snapdragons, and lime green mums. We used hot pink acrylics in the smaller vases and a soft, silver ribbon around the central vase.

Pretty mixes of pink alstomeria, pink tulips, pink gerber daisies, lime green mums, white limonium, white hydrangea, and hot pink roses graced the other half of Staci's tables. Silver ribbon ran up the sides of the large glass squares.

We found spray roses to match the watermelon pink ribbon wrapped around the layers of the cake. We mixed them with green roses on the top layer. Yummmmm...looks good!
